My employer has introduced a new position to the company, I know I’m the
best candidate for the position. The only problem is my interview is
with the CEO of the company. I’m so nervous and want it so bad I can’t
sleep. It is a great opportunity financially as well.

Can you give me some tips on interviewing for a promotion?

Hi Melissa,

I work with people everyday who are interviewing for a promotion. I
just helped two job seekers last week get their promotions.

Keep in mind, that CEOs interview from a different perspective than
normal interviewers. Since it’s a new position, they may want to dig
deeper into what your own plans are for the new job. How are you going
to do it? How are you going to overcome any hurdles. How do you know
when you have been successful? Polish up on questions like that and
you’ll be set.

help you overcome your nervousness and allow the real you to shine
through in the interview.
